Additional services Extended liability for documents

When you send valuable documents such as passports, visas or certificates, DHL Express offers you the option of Extended Liability.

This additional service is an extension of DHL Express' standard liability. At the attractive rate of €4, you will receive a fixed payment of €400 (including transport costs) in the event of damage or loss of your document.

Extended liability is available for DHL EXPRESS ENVELOPE (document shipments up to 300 grams) to all destinations worldwide. In addition, Extended Liability is available for document shipments with a delivery time before the end of the working day to and from destinations outside the European Union.
