As a DHL Express Customer, you can choose to donate to Stichting Opkikker, JINC en Bibian Mentel Foundation. Not familiar with these organizations as of yet? No problem, we would love to introduce you to their activities. Please note that the videos about the charities are in Dutch.
Stichting Opkikker
When a child is seriously ill, it has an impact on the entire family. Then every spark of joy is super important. Stichting Opkikker does exactly that: giving these families a carefree 'Opkikker’ day full of fun activities. A big party, helicopter flights, driving around as a superhero in a cool car or dressed as a real princess in a carriage: Anything is possible!
JINC
Everyone deserves a good start on the job market. JINC, together with partners such as DHL, strives for a society in which your background does not determine your future. Through the JINC program, 47,000 primary and VMBO- (pre-vocational secondary education) students aged 8-16 are introduced to all kinds of professions, discover which work suits their talents and learn how to apply for jobs. DHL offers short internships and gives young people a glimpse into the world of logistics.
Bibian Mentel Foundation
“Equal opportunities for everyone with a physical challenge”. That was the dream of founder Bibian Mentel, multiple Paralympic snowboarder. Now the mission of the Bibian Mentel Foundation is to make Bibian's dream come true and they hope to inspire you with her positive mentality. With the Re-abled program they help everyone with a physical challenge to get the most out of themselves.
They do this by offering better guidance and providing their participants with the right prosthetic/orthotic device.
