The earthquakes that took place in February ruined an entire region and thousands of people are in need of help. MatchWornShirt is launching a fundraiser with all proceeds going entirely to these areas. To strengthen the initiative, DHL Express is taking on the entire logistics process and associated costs.

How DHL helps worldwide
In partnership with United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA), we have established a global network consisting of approximately 500 specially trained colleagues who volunteer to be part of our Disaster Response Teams (DRT). When called upon by the United Nations following a natural disaster, DRTs will be fully operational in the disaster area within 72 hours.

DHL in Turkey
DHL is also present in Turkey after the devastating earthquake to provide assistance. There are currently four DHL divisions operating in the affected area and we are working together #AsOne. DHL is committed to supporting the communities affected by the earthquake. All teams are working closely with the Turkish government and local authorities to provide support and assistance. We also join forces with major e-commerce companies to deliver goods such as tents, heaters, blankets, coats, baby diapers, canned food and toilet paper at cost price.
