As of July 26, 2018, Bahrain's customs authorities have abolished the exemption (value limit 100 BHD - 265 USD) on commercial goods imports for businesses. This means that with every customs declaration the recipient will have to pay customs duties & VAT. The exemption for private individuals (Business to Consumer - B2C shipments) will continue to exist, the value limit for this is 300 BHD – 795 USD.
