* Importer of registration
Every importer in Saudi Arabia must have a valid registration. If the importer does not use their own broker, they must register online to designate DHL as the declarant.

Shipments valued up to 1000 USD to consumers are possible. Shipments worth more can only be send to consumers that are permanent residents and are in possession of a IQAMA (comparable to our BSN number).
Documents
Document shipments (not dutiable) are limited to real documents such as certificates and invoices - with no commercial value.
As soon as something has a commercial value (eg books, magazines, photos and data carriers), the shipment is dutiable.
